Do I Need a Visa?
- EU/EEA and Swiss citizens generally do not require a visa to enter Germany for conference attendance.
- Visitors from many non-EU countries (such as the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and several others) may enter Germany for short stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period without a visa.
- Nationals of countries that require a visa must apply for a Schengen short-stay visa before traveling.
