How to get to the conference site at
BBZ (Deutscher Platz 5, 04103 Leipzig):
From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER):
Take the Airport Express
(FEX) or Regional Express
(RE8) from BER Airport to
Berlin Central Station.Change there to an
ICE train to
Leipzig Central Station. Take the
tram 16 to
Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, then walk 5 minutes to BioCity/BBZ.
Travel time: approx. 2 hours 15–30 minutes
Fare: Buy a DB Sparpreis/Flexpreis ticket (including local transport if needed) via
Deutsche Bahn; if you have a Deutschlandticket, it covers the local transport (BER–Berlin and Leipzig city transport), but you still need a separate ticket for the ICE between Berlin and Leipzig.
From Leipzig Central Station:
Take the
tram 16 to
Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, then walk 5 minutes to BioCity/BBZ.
Travel time: approx. 15 minutes
Fare: Buy a single MDV ticket (€6.60) at the station (or use a Deutschlandticket).
